Foresta is now a proud member of the Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network (WFEN). This means that we share WFEN’s vision of a world where people and wildlife coexist and thrive—both in the wild and in agricultural spaces. For us, this was the natural choice. The lush forests of West Bali where we source our vanilla are home to countless species, one of these magnificent creatures being the majestic rangkong (Buceros rhinoceros).

STORY
Ever since day one, we knew this incredible abundance was something we needed to protect. So we take the side of the forest. Together with local communities and farmers, we've adopted and refined rustic agricultural practices that meticulously avoid disrupting the natural habitat. We listen and follow the beat of the forests. We adjust. To this end, we cut no trees, use no chemicals, and let our vanilla thrive around the old trees found in these Balinese jungles.
Like an offering to the jungle, we deliberately planted trees and let the fruits serve as a natural food source for the monkeys, insects, and birds. This is how we pay our respect to the balance of biodiversity in our surroundings. We don't seek to disrupt nature; we aim to celebrate her abundance. By nurturing the jungle ecosystem, we believe we've fostered a mutually beneficial relationship with nature. Our efforts not only protect the wildlife but also enrich the environment where our spices grow. Produce grown in these biodiverse forests doesn't just grow in a healthy environment; it is superior in terms of quality.
